Preschool and Level 1 are generally based on age and individual maturity. (Goals for those levels are found in the "Courses" link above.) Level 2 and up are based on skill level. Evaluations are done in May to assess each student's knowledge, ability, and growth. Summer classes are made available for students to practice and maintain what they know. New students should contact the studio for assessment options and all questions regarding appropriate placement.

 

Please note that what is taught in these levels is not limited to what is shown - these lists are the base knowledge required PRIOR to entering that level to ensure each student is learning with a cohort appropriate to their ability.
